We made a welcome return visit to the islands of Malta and Gozo in July 2018, having previously toured there in 2014. In amongst baking hot weather and multiple beach trips, we enjoying singing Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Valletta, a broadcast concert at Sannat Parish Church in Gozo, a return visit to St. Paul’s Anglican Pro Cathedral for a concert with Clare alumna Elin Manahan Thomas and instrumentalists from across Cambridge University, and a concert in the beautiful Mdina Cathedral. We were fortunate to finish the tour performing a Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral, where we were given a private viewing of the extraordinary Caravaggio paintings. We returned to England after a wonderful week of singing and tanning together!
