A Clare Christmas
The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge return to Arts at Stowe with ‘A Clare Christmas’, exploring festive choral masterpieces old and new, and celebrating 10 years with Graham Ross as Director of Music. Poulenc’s Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël and Hieronymus Praetorius’s Christmas Magnificat sit alongside Roderick Williams’s haunting O Adonai, Jan Sandström’s Es ist ein Ros’ entsprungen, and a selection of beautiful arrangements that tell us that Christmas has truly begun.
