The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge is delighted to announce the return of the Clare College Song Competition 2023. Open to singers and pianists aged 18-23 who are engaged in full-time study at Cambridge University, this is a great opportunity for emerging solo singers and piano accompanists studying at Cambridge University in the performance of Art Song. The prizes include:

Singers:

1st Prize: The Clare College Singer’s Prize, £400

2nd Prize: £200

Accompanists:

1st Prize: The Clare College Accompanist’s Prize, £150 (not necessarily from the winning duo)

There is an additional Masterclass opportunity where any singers and their pianists from the Semi-final/Final may be invited to take part in a public masterclass with James Gilchrist on the afternoon of the Final.
