The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge and conductor Graham Ross return to Lamberhurst, Leamington Spa, and their flagship Christmas concert at St John’s, Smith Square, London with a spectacular festive programme exploring the depths of winter warmed by the hope and joy of the Christmas story. Works old and new sit alongside one another, including Morales’ O magnum mysterium, Howells’ A spotless rose, John Rutter’s Dormi, Jesu, seasonal pieces by Praetorius, Tavener, Vaughan Williams, Barber, Sally Beamish, Roxana Panufnik, and many more. From Medieval chant and much-loved traditional carols to stunning new arrangements, this programme is guaranteed to make a perfect start to Christmas.

The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge and conductor Graham Ross return to St John’s, Smith Square for their debut in the Holy Week Festival on Holy Saturday.  They perform a beautiful Lenten sequence including settings of the Tenebrae Responsories for Holy Saturday, Sanders' Reproaches, James MacMillan’s stunning Miserere, and Gerald Finzi’s Eucharistic masterpiece, Lo, the full, final Sacrifice.
